Google Knowledge Panel

Google Knowledge Panel: claiming, verifying and correcting yours

Official channels only

A Google Knowledge Panel cannot be bought or created on request. Google generates panels automatically from sources across the web and from authorised data partners, and updates them as that information changes. If a panel about you or your organisation already exists, you can claim it with Google's own verification, by signing in to an official site or profile Google associates with you, such as YouTube, Search Console or your official social accounts, and then suggest changes. Not every panel can be claimed. We check whether a panel exists and whether it is claimable, take you through Google's verification, prepare corrections Google can verify against public sources, and strengthen the consistent, public information that panels are built from. We do not edit Wikipedia for pay and we never promise that a panel will appear.

Sound familiar?

Situations we handle

  • A Knowledge Panel about you or your brand shows the wrong photo, dates, job title or links.
  • You have a panel but have never claimed it, so you cannot suggest changes as its owner.
  • Google shows a panel that mixes you up with someone else who has the same name.
  • You are a public figure or brand with real press coverage and want to know why no panel appears.
  • Someone offered to "create" a Knowledge Panel for a fee and you want to know whether that is real.

The process

What working with us looks like

01

Free case review

Send us your name or brand as it should appear and links to your official profiles. We check whether a panel exists, whether it shows the option to claim it, and what Google is likely to be drawing on. If a panel is not realistic yet, we say so.

02

Claim and verify

Claiming happens at the bottom of the panel, through Google’s own flow: you sign in to one of the official sites or profiles Google lists for you. If Google cannot identify any associated sites, it asks for more information. We prepare what to have ready so the first attempt succeeds.

03

Corrections Google can verify

Once verified, you can suggest changes and add authorised representatives. Google weighs suggestions against public sources, so each correction needs a source that says the same thing. We prepare the suggestion and the evidence behind it.

04

Consistent public information

Panels are built from what the web says about you. We align your official site, structured data and official profiles so that they describe the same entity in the same way, which is what helps the right information surface. We do not create fake profiles, buy coverage, or edit Wikipedia for pay.

05

Local businesses

If you are a business with a physical location, the panel you see is usually your Business Profile, which has its own management route. We point you to it rather than through the Knowledge Panel process.

Before we start

What we need from you

  • Your name or brand exactly as it should appear, and a screenshot of the current panel if there is one.
  • Links to your official website and official profiles (YouTube, social accounts, Search Console access if you have it).
  • The corrections you want, with a public source for each: press coverage, an official bio, company records.
  • For a mixed-up panel: what distinguishes you from the other person or entity.

Straight answer

About success rates

Google decides whether a panel exists and what it shows. Claiming and correcting an existing panel works reliably when the information you want is supported by public sources. Getting a panel to appear for the first time depends on genuine public coverage and cannot be guaranteed by anyone; offers to create a panel for a fee are selling something Google says it does not do on request.

Frequently asked questions

Can you create a Google Knowledge Panel for me?

No one can create one on request. Google says knowledge panels are generated automatically from information across the web. What helps is genuine public coverage and consistent official information about you, which we can work on, but we never promise a panel will appear.

How do I claim my Knowledge Panel?

Search for yourself on Google, find your panel, and select the option to claim it at the bottom. Google asks you to sign in to one of the official sites or profiles it lists, such as YouTube or Search Console. Google notes that not all knowledge panels are claimable yet.

Can I change the information in my panel?

Once verified, you can suggest changes, and Google reviews them against other information. Anyone can also use the feedback link on a panel. Changes are not automatic, which is why each suggestion should be backed by a public source.

My business has a panel with opening hours and reviews. Is that a Knowledge Panel?

For a local business it is usually a Business Profile, which you manage through Google Business Profile rather than the Knowledge Panel claim process.

Do you need access to my Google account?

No. You sign in and verify yourself. We prepare the steps and the evidence, and we never ask for passwords or codes.
